A Journey to
the Heart of Nature: Traces of Spring on the Uludere Walking Route
On April
28, 2025, the Şırnak University Tourism and Promotion Club took
students on a journey to the heart of nature with the Uludere Nature Walk.
The event, organized under the UNIDES program by the Ministry of Youth
and Sports, allowed participants to witness some of the most striking spring
landscapes.
The walk,
which took place amid rich vegetation, valleys, mountain ranges, and snow-covered
slopes, provided participants with a visual feast. Along the route, the rare reverse
tulip, a unique species found in the area, showcased the elegance of
nature.
With about
30 participants, the walk not only provided hours of immersion in nature but
also raised environmental awareness. Throughout the walk, students had the
opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of nature and witness the
region's natural tourism potential firsthand.
As part of
the "Tourism Beauties of Şırnak – Promoting the Tourism Potential"
project, the event fostered a connection between young people and nature while
highlighting the region's richness in ecotourism.
