Dormitory and Housing

In addition to improving the quality of education day by day, our university also aims to offer better accommodation opportunities to our students. In this context, taking into account the physical condition, capacity and access opportunities to our education units, some of the determined buildings were rented by the Credit and Dormitories Institution and turned into dormitories. As of today, there is a dormitory for 450 male students within the Credit and Dormitories Institution in Şırnak city center and a dormitory for 500 female students on campus. Again, in Şırnak city center, there are many private student dormitories, guesthouses belonging to public institutions, hotels, apartments and private flats that can be rented under favorable conditions to meet the accommodation needs of our students. To date, none of our students studying either in Şırnak city center or in the districts have encountered serious problems regarding accommodation.

In addition to all this, taking into account the rapidly increasing student capacity of our University, priority has been given to the construction of dormitories that can accommodate a large number of male and female students within the Campus Area, and the construction of the planned new dormitories has been initiated.
