The results of the 2nd Şehr-i Nuh National Photography Competition have been announced.

The 2nd Şehr-i Nuh National Photography Competition, organized within the scope of the Nuh’s City Calls You Project in collaboration with the School of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Şırnak Culture, Tourism, and Promotion Association, was held under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Şırnak Governorship, Şırnak Municipality, and Şırnak University.

A total of 99 participants from many provinces of our country submitted 495 photographs to the competition. The submissions were evaluated by the jury, and the winning photographs were determined.

As a result of the evaluation, the winners were as follows:

  • Ahmet ASLAN with the photograph "Faraşin Photo" – 1st place
  • Hasan AÇAN with the photograph "Gabar Petrol Photo" – 2nd place
  • Bestami BODRUK with the photograph "Skiing Fun in Faraşin in July" – 3rd place
  • Esengül Alıcı Biber with the photograph "Kızıl Çarşamba Celebration" – Honorable Mention

Additionally, the individuals listed below have earned the right to receive an exhibition award.

In this photography competition, which highlights the natural, cultural, religious, and historical values of Şırnak province and its districts, we express our gratitude to the jury members who have generously supported us: war correspondent and journalist Coşkun ARAL, photographer Murat BAKMAZ, Arzu İBRANOĞLU, Mehmet ASLAN, and Murat ADIYAMAN.
