As is known,
internships are accepted in two ways by the School Internship Commission. One
is the "Intern" method, where students fill out an internship file
and work at an institution/organization that meets the conditions outlined in
Articles 9 and 10 of the Internship Regulations, while being registered with
the Social Security Institution (SGK), declaring their work as part of the Exemption
Process (Article 17).
In the
visual below, titled "Internship Process Flowchart," the workflow for
students who will complete their internships as "Interns" is shown.
Students must apply by the end of April for this process. Students who will
work at institutions/organizations registered with SGK, in accordance with the
conditions specified in Articles 9 and 10 of the Internship Regulations, must
complete their internship after working under the stated conditions and submit
all required documents in accordance with the deadlines for submitting the
internship file specified in the guidelines to the Student Affairs Unit of the
School.
Note: In both cases, the
"Intern/Employee Evaluation Form" must be filled out.
