Requirements |
To be a high school graduate and to get the required score from the exam
/ exams conducted by ÖSYM for placement in Higher Education Institutions. |

Those who have a bachelor's degree and a sufficient score from the
Academic Graduate Education Examination (ALES) can continue their graduate
education if they meet the other conditions. |

Requirements |
To have successfully completed all compulsory courses, to complete a
total of 240 ECTS required for 8 semesters and to achieve a diploma grade
point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. |

Department
Outcomes |
1. Tourism Management education involves providing students with the knowledge and skills that enable them to manage tourism businesses effectively and efficiently in a competitive environment. In this context, tourism management education covers management processes such as management, marketing, financing, accounting, as well as practical issues. 2. As a result of Tourism Management education, students have knowledge
about the structure and functioning of tourism enterprises and their
importance in the development of the country. 3. As a result of tourism management education; students will have a
comprehensive and systematic knowledge of concepts, theories, principles and
facts in the field of tourism management and related disciplines. 4. Students gain reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills in
English at least at the general level of the European Language Portfolio. 5. Students acquire reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills
in a second foreign language at least at the general level of the European
Language Portfolio. 6. The content of the courses of the Department of Tourism Management is
designed in such a way that students can have the theoretical knowledge of
tourism management and at the same time acquire the technical knowledge they
will need to find solutions to various business problems they encounter in
tourism enterprises. 7. Students studying Tourism Management; - Communicate effectively in written, verbal and non-verbal forms and
demonstrate presentation skills, - Knows social and professional ethical values, evaluates them critically
and develops appropriate behaviors, - Knows and applies management theories and practices that can
effectively manage tourism businesses (hotel business, travel business, food
and beverage business, etc.), - Works effectively with others and independently, - To take care of personal care, hygiene, clothing and appearance as
required by tourism management, - Recognizes, uses and maintains the physical environment, tools and
technologies related to the service area, - Recognize, understand and communicate with different cultures, - Have detailed information about the culture and geography of the world
and Turkey, - Knows the service delivery processes in tourism businesses and fulfills
them in a way that ensures guest satisfaction. |
