The "Little
Chefs Workshop" event, organized by our university's Gastronomy
Club, was held under the coordination of Dr. Lecturer Rıdvan Solmaz.
Thirty young students from Tümgeneral Ömer Keçecigil Primary School,
accompanied by their teacher Zilan Oğuz, had a fun and educational day
in the practice kitchen.
During the
event, guided by Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students, the little chefs
first prepared various cookies and then different types of pastries. At the end
of the day, they showcased their culinary skills by making milk burgers
together. To make the event even more enjoyable, music and clown
performances were included, creating unforgettable moments for the
children.
The young
participants not only had the opportunity to improve their practical kitchen
skills alongside our gastronomy students but also experienced a day full of
fun. This event helped children become familiar with culinary culture at an
early age, providing them with both an educational and enjoyable
experience.
