Students whose final exam average is between 60 and 84 must submit a petition to take the make-up exam, as stated in Article 12 of Şırnak University’s Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations. Since the make-up exam replaces the final exam, submitting a petition is mandatory for these students. However, students with an average below 60 can take the make-up exam without submitting a petition.
