On April 21,
2025, a panel was held as part of the Tourism Week events. During the panel,
our School Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sedat ÇELİK, presented on “The Faith
Tourism Potential of Şırnak Province,” while the Head of the Department of
Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceren AVCI, delivered a
presentation titled “Gastrodiplomacy.”
Following
the presentations, the event continued with a Q&A session that drew
significant interest and engagement from participants. The panel was attended
by our students, administrative staff, and esteemed academics from our
university, making it a productive event in terms of knowledge exchange and
interaction.
This
meaningful panel, which marked the opening of the Tourism Week Events,
concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to the
participating academics and a group photo session.
