A
cooperation protocol has been signed between Şırnak University and the Turkish
Gastronomy Federation (TUGAFED) with the aim of supporting activities and
events organized at the university, raising awareness about the value of the
culinary profession, and developing artistic production activities. The
protocol also focuses on equipping individuals with the necessary
qualifications and attitudes for the culinary profession, researching and
preserving forgotten local flavors under the theme of culinary culture,
organizing promotion and tasting events, and promoting Turkish cuisine on
national platforms.
The protocol
also covers research and development (R&D) activities, professional
training programs, mutual support for internships and employment, and other
related practices. The protocol was signed by the Rector of Şırnak University,
Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Alkış, and the President of the Federation, Assoc. Prof.
Dr. Yılmaz Seçim.
